But one of the great parts of our collective uncertainty is our collective desire to remain creative and artistically curious. 2020 has still seen some incredible art being made from around the globe, and the hunkering down and getting to work portion of our lives has been inspiring.
As we all adjust to a world where "art-is-at-a-distance," Juxtapoz and Liquitex has announced a Virtual Residency, bringing the creation experience directly to you in your studio. The question is: "What would you explore over 6 weeks if you had free rein of a line of products from Liquitex?" We want to find out.
From now through December 20, 2020, we are asking readers, artists and all around creative spirits to apply for the Liquitex Virtual Residency (and follow in the footsteps of past Liquitex Residency artists). The only requirement? Must love acrylic paint!
The winner of the Juxtapox x Liquitex Virtual Residency will have a slew of amazing opportunities to share their work. We will send you a Go Pro to start capturing your works in progress, we will host a number of IG Live sessions to follow your process ... oh, and of course, you will have your studio stocked with Liquitex products! The Grand Prize includes the full Virtual Residency experience, a feature on the Liquitex website, and a highlight in Juxtapoz's Summer 2021 Quarterly.
