As part of our ongoing partnership with If You Were Here Now, today we look at this fun conceptual "how to" make a papier-mâché lamp video Katie Stout created. The Brooklyn-based artist makes work that is a caricaturization of furniture as it is traditionally understood, as in this case, created a lamp from a craft perspective. She utilizes a diverse range of media and often unexpected techniques to make sculptures of furniture and household objects. Enjoy!
