Today we take a look at the works of Spanish surrealist Paco Pomet, who will be taking part in "Juxtapoz x Superflat," co-curated by Takashi Murakami and Juxtapoz editor Evan Pricco, at Pivot Art & Culture in Seattle from August 4—7, 2016.

From his standout solo shows at Richard Heller in Santa Monica, to his great works at Banksy's Dismaland, Paco has been one of our favorite painters of the past few years. What appears at first to be simple painitngs found at the flea market unravel as you look closer. All of sudden, the simplicity becomes a horror show, or a Twiight Zone episode as still-life. They are wonderfully complex and times disturbingly funny. Probably why we love them so much.
