We kick off the week's A Portfolio with a body of work we just are so enamored with, the paintings of Hull, UK-born, Warsaw, Poland-based artist ML Poznanski. We had seen bits of her work from posts regarding her 2023 solo show Children of Omerta at Lo Brutto Stahl in Paris, but wanted to take a larger look today. 

ML Poznanski is an artist and clothesmaker based in Warsaw. She studied Painting at Central Saint Martins and Philosophy at Birkbeck, University of London. Poznanski’s recent solo exhibitions include: Children of Omerta, Lo Brutto Stahl, Paris, FR (2023); Tubamirum; A Missive for the Daffodils, Simo Bacar Gallery, Lisbon, PT (2022); Stories Not Systems, Montague, London, UK (2019). Group exhibitions include: Conduits, Lo Brutto Stahl, Paris, FR (2023); Cemetery of Splendor, Piktogram, Warsaw, PL (2023); Palomar, Simo Bacar Gallery, Lisbon, PT (2023); ZEIT, house of spouse, Vienna, AT (2022). Poznanski is also part of the writing collective Everyone Agrees which has published The Night and After The Night with Book Works, London.
