Summer is in that late stage where the days feel a little quick and hazy, but we give you a new A Portfolio of the works of Jake Sheiner. We loved his show at WOAW back at the end of 2022, and now seeing his progression just over the past few years, you can see this elegant and that word again, hazy, view of Los Angeles life.

Jake Sheiner is a Los Angeles based painter and native of the city. He received his BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008. His first solo show, 'Scenes From My Quarantine' with Taymour Grahne debuted online in 2021, followed by a solo at The Lodge (LA) later that year. Subsequently he has exhibited with La Loma Projects (LA) and My Pet Ram (NY.) Previously, he exhibited his work at Alias Books (LA) Hou Yee Chen Gallery (LA) and Scott Projects (Chicago, IL). His works have been featured on BOOOOOOOM, Hyper Allergic, KCET, The LA Weekly, Veja, Magnetic Magazine, Complex and The New York Times. Sheiner’s works are included in the Beth Rudin DeWoody collection and the X Museum collection among other private collections.
