Juxtapoz once again collaborated with Danny Wimmer Presents on the Make Your Mark Graffiti Zone at Aftershock in Sacramento over the weekend.

Rock music festivals are growing rapidly around the country and when you have the likes of Tool, Primus, Slayer, Zakk Wylde, and Baroness on the ticket, it's no wonder this year's numbers were up 10% over 2015.

50,000 people came from all around the country and as far away as Canada to enjoy the music and festivities. Once again, the Make Your Mark zone was one of the most popular installations of the weekend and this year we also had the chance to get several local artists involved.

After Baroness wrapped up their set Saturday afternoon, lead singer and former Juxtapoz-featured artist John Baizley came by to tag the wall and let us know about some things he has in the works over the next year. Baizley has a tireless work ethic and is constantly keeping himself busy in both the music and art worlds. Look forward to hearing more in 2017. —Mike Stalter
