It was already going to be a special Friday night headlining set at the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury, the UK's great and influential music festival. Stormzy, the UK grime artist, was not only going to be the second youngest act to headline the famed festival (at 25, Bowie was 24 in 1971), but he was the first black UK artist to headline. A historical night.

Already a highly political set and emotional performance, Stormzy added another element: he wore a customized, stab-proof vest made by the UK's biggest artist, Banksy. Clearly a comment on Britain’s knife crime crisis, As Banksy just noted on his IG, "I made a customised stab-proof vest and thought – who could possibly wear this? Stormzy at Glastonbury." The Union Jack vest, combined with the now what critics are calling an "electrifying" set? Legendary.
